Well I just thought I would share something that happened to me on Saturday. I woke up, feeling like I have been. Kind of tired, but happy, nothing special. I relaxed a little, had two oranges and 2 apples and at like 12 noon, I started some studying for midterms. Suddenly, my leg started to get a little achy....then my arms.....then my neck. At first I thought it was just from sitting with my head down reading at the table, but before I knew it, I was COMPLETELY wiped out! I mean, COMPLETELY. It seemed every second was getting worse, ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT LONG! I totally lost my appetite, my body was aching EVERYWHERE, I mean, my teeth, my toes, my back especially, (lower back), arms, legs, not so much stomach.....but it was insane!!!!!!!!!! I haven't felt that bad in............I DON'T KNOW HOW LONG! YEARS! And it wasn't even muscle pains, it was 'something else'.......So I layed on the couch all day, crying on and off, drinking water, barley watching tv because I couldn't concentrate, I couldn't sleep either because of the pain....and I made myself 2 steam baths....meaning, I put the shower on as hot as possible, sat on the edge of the tub with my feet out, and just sweat it out while rubbing my back as much as I could stand it. I did that twice, once in the afternoon, once at night. I didn't take any meds. and I didn't eat anything except made myself some watermelon juice....and of course water. It was INSANE and at around 11:30 I finally fell asleep in bed. I went to the bathroom (#1) all night long like I always do, maybe more this night because of all the water, and everytime I got up the pain seemed to be A LITTLE less. Then when I finally woke up in the morning for good, THE PAIN WAS GONE!!!!!! It was like it never happened!!!! INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now that it's over, I'm thinking it HAD to be detox. CRAZY DETOX! I never experienced anything like that. THANK GOD IT HAPPENED ON A SATURDAY! Now, I don't notice anything different than before that incident except that I've gone to the bathroom (#2) naturaully, and they look PERFECT. (Not to be gross! :D )

Just crazy though.......anyone ever experience anything similar?????

Wow! How long have you been eating raw foods? That was some pretty crazy detox! I hope I don't have anything like that. I am glad it is over for you! Do you feel great now?

Hey, yeah, it was crazy........I've been raw since Feb. 13th. And yeah, I feel better than I did beore except I don't feel AMAZING yet! hahaha but I guess that takes a while.......that permant full feeling in my stomach is gone, which is good because it's been there for like 4 months, even through 3 days of fasting! It makes me wonder what my body was killing off in there......kind of scary considering the kind of pain I was going through. I really DON'T want to go through that again, but if that's what it takes to be clear of all of the toxins, SO BE IT! ;)

That is crazy.
Twice now I've had a weird detox I'm guessing. I would feel (in the evening) like I was getting a full blown head cold. Sneezing, blowing my nose, sneezing, full of runny yuck. I'd go to bed with a box of tissues next to me, wake up in the morning and feel normal again!
Detox is a strange occurence.!

yeah! That's exactly how it was. I went to bed, and the next morning, it was just like, GONE! And what is even more weird to me is that I woke up that morning feeling totally fine! And then it just came on so quickly and just literally WIPED ME OUT. IT TOOK OVER MY WHOLE BODY. I mean, I haven't even had a flu in a couple of years, but I know that when I would get it, it would start with something little, and that little thing would be there for like half a day or something until I started to really feel bad. But this was like, leg pain, moving up to middle body, moving up to the arms, and then BAM! The WHOLE BODY, taken over! And it was all within like 20 minutes that piece by piece my body became extremely ill...not joking!
