Anyone eat them? I've had them before....but not when I was raw. I was just wondering if they're really considered raw and they are really not processed....hahah dumb question? Well, I'll be going to class soon from work and I want to pick up a snack at the store....I've ha:rolleyes: d tons of fruit today and it just doesn't seem to be filling me up today like it usually does. So I was thinking I would grab a larabar or two to hold me over until I get home.
I'M STARVING TODAY! :D :D :D

There's a bunch of info on this forum regarding Lara bars. I would say do a search and read up.
I would think it would be okay until you get home. But ultimately, it's your call.

I eat 'em! My favorite is chocolate mole.
I understand that the majority of them are all raw, but a few have some non raw ingredients. I eat them and love the lemon and pecan pie one. They are my favorites. They are great to have when you are out and about. I usually stash one in my purse for emergencys of when I can't get to good food.

FYI, I have heard that there are 3 other energy bar brands that are raw, as well.
Think Organic and Pure Bars are a ones that I haven't tried. Of course, all of these bars are pricey.:(
I have enjoyed Lara Bars in the past. My favorite is Cherry Pie.:p
I was once at a health food store in St. Augustine, Florida last November and saw Raw Revolution Bars. I tried one. I think it had chocolate in it. It was the best!! :D
I aim to learn how to make raw energy bars myself so I can make my own flavors, be certain they are raw, and save money. There are some threads on the Raw Recipe Discussion Board, where folks describe their raw bar recipes. You might want to try a search if you ever get to the point of wanting to save money and make your own. Until then, Lara Bars are pretty decent.
Best of luck on your journey!

I tried a chocolate coconut and didn't like it much, then I started making my brownies and wrapping them up and taking them places, YUMMY!!
I've tried the apple pie and the cherry pie, and they are pretty good, at least they are easy to keep in my car and grab if I really want something heavy.
I also keep nuts and raw chocolate and dried coconut, and raisins in my car, plus bottled filtered water too.
I find it pretty easy to buy fresh fruits at pretty much any store, but finding raw nuts and things, can be tricky.

I am so leery of anything pre-packaged anymore! I make my own stuff. But if you HAVE to stop and get something while out and about and its not fruits or something, I think they are pretty okay. I like cherry pie the best. But then, I am a cherry fanatic.
