I finally tried green smoothies all this week and I could easily live off 'em! Yum yum yum! I have to say though, putting cabbage in them was not a good idea as far as taste goes. I've lost 2 pounds. I think I haven't lost more because I'm slacking with drinking enough water. :( I looked for Alissa's book but couldn't find it in the bookstore and don't have a way to purchase things online right now. I went out and bought Carol Alt's raw food book and a good sized un-cooked book to try some new recipes with as I finally have enough money now to get a juicer and a dehydrator! And I got some "very green" powder....I'm soooo excited! I just wanted to share! :) I've realized that if I track the days I've done good at whatever the goal is then I don't stick to it as well as if I just keep it in my mind and follow what my heart says.

Yeah, cabbage is not one of the better greens to put into a smoothie - ugh!!!
But that is awesome about you losing and on this journey. Don't forget your local library to maybe check out some raw books. PLUS, here you will find a lot of info and recipes.

MorningRuby....you could probably send a check or money order to Alissa's office.

Good luck!
