from the menu at the SoCal raw eatery in fountainveiw AUCLAC i saw these aquatic grass seeds featured sort of like rice or pasta replacements .
can anyone enlighten me .

hey--you missed the * at the bottom of the menu:
*soaked organic wildrice cultured with multidophilus or by request with cauliflower only

i don't know what they are, but au lac's dishes with them taste fabulous

I belong to another board where there was a lengthy discussion about how to duplicate AucLac's rice dishes. Someone emailed the chef and he said he will be coming out with a cookbook this year, so hopefully his secrets will be revealed!
