Hi! I joined yesterday and ordered Alissa's book. Until it arrives could someone tell me how they clean the fruit and veggies? Is everyone using mostly organic? Is anyone using produce from Costco?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Eileen

I use organic mostly. I know others that use Costco. I clean mine with veggie wash.

This is what I use:
Veggie Wash is made from ingredients naturally derived from corn, coconut, lemon and grapefruit seed extract. It contains no harsh chemicals.

I use mostly organic. I run mine under water. I'm lazy.
The less frou-frou, the merrier, for me :)

Ya know, I usually do that too. I am thinking about how it GETS to the grocery store/farmer's markets. People's grimey hands! You never know where they've been before they touch your food

Thanks for all the suggestions. I feel better now. A local store has both veggie wash & fit. This weekend I will go pick one up.

Thanks again, Eileen

That's a really good point! And really, who knows who's sneezed on them, etc, at the store... ick...

I'm going to wash mine better from now on.
