How long does almond butter last? I have one that was shoved aside about 3 months ago, it is open....is it still good?

It looks fine, smells fine and it has been in a cool kitchen (I live in NY)..
I guess its ok?? I'll give it a try.
If I dont post tomorrow, call 911! :D
