Hi all:
After much contemplation and prayer, I have decided to pursue the raw world. I did a master cleanse in 2005 around this time, and went raw for 6 months. After a whirlwind of blessings (new job, grad school, new home) I became overwhelmed and succumbed to cooked and processed foods. I went from a sleek and toned 142 to a soft and pasty 189 in less than 1 yr. Needless to say, I am fired up in a good way-- sick and tired of being sick and tired.
I live in Madison, WI, but am first generation Nigerian, raised in Wash DC, hence the RawNaija title in the thread.
I have a natural hair album,thru fotki, and several friends there suggested Alissa's book (which i ordered last week) and the march 30 -day challenge, so here I am joining the ranks!!
I look forward to blogging my journey and taking pics. Thank you for such a welcoming and open space.
