Hello,
I have recently crossed the half century mark, am 50+ over weight, have no energy, starting to have problems walking and in need of support. I have attempted to go raw for the last year, I cannot stay focussed. I have all the tools, equiptmet and books, but again am lacking in support.
Any suggestions.

I'm all for what feels right...
Take it slow... listen to your body..it knows ALL!
A grand and warm welcome to you!!!!
Welcome. You are in the right place for support. I would say stick around, post often and get educated by reading these theads. I think having variety in your diet is also key.

How about quit doing the recipes and just mono-eat? It is alot less stress and more supportive of yourself on most occasions cause you get more of other things done. Plus you don't have to throw out what you didn't eat and feel bad cause you put so much effort into it. Make a recipe just when you are really craving it not stress yourself that you have to make a recipe for every meal - or even that you are stuck in a 3 meal a day pattern. Listen or feel your body's rhythms of when it wants to eat. Drink more liquids when you think you are hungry.
Just a thought.
Or invite someone over to help you break in your equipment and enjoy the results?
