Just very quickly here - I use it for all kinds of small things. Like grinding flax, sesame, sunflower seeds, etc. for crackers. Also onions, garlic, any small jobs.
Tomato Dip
2-3 cloves garlic
2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
Juice from 1/2 - 1 lemon
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
-Zap for a few seconds together until garlic is small, not pulverized.
Add 3-4 chunked Roma (paste) tomatoes.
-Zap a few more times to make a very fresh nice dip/relish.
May add a little salt if desired. Add less garlic if desired. Lemon is to taste.
I would say to use the large jar for this and maybe do it in 2 batches so that some of it won't get too mushed while the rest stays in chunks. Some people like this very chunky, others like it pretty ground up so it will dip easier.
Lemon-Olive-Almond Relish
1 unpeeled lemon - thinly sliced - remove seeds
1/3 cup chopped almonds - zap a few times in Magic Bullet - careful not to pulverize them. You want it chunky.
3 tbsp olive oil
1/4 tsp kosher salt
1/8 tsp black pepper
1 1/2 cups sliced pitted green olives
Dice the lemon slices and zap a few times in the Magic Bullet if desired. Be careful not to get them too small. In a bowl, combine lemon with other ingredients. Keeps refrigerated for up to a week.
Great beside "fish" - type dishes like Toona etc.
It totally depends on you how fine you want this chopped. The original recipe calls for it to be pretty coarse. I have tried it both ways (once I let the lemon, olive and almond pieces get very small. It was good, but not quite as terrific looking. Then I actually made it into a pretty fine dip that I even tried as a spread on crackers. The taste combination is really great. One recipe I saw used black olives, so I am going to try that one too.
Cucumber and Lemon Salsa
1 lemon (peeled, seeded and roughly chopped in Magic Bullet)
1/4 cup chopped fresh dill
2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
1/2 tsp kosher salt
2 chopped cucumbers
Combine and serve with faux-salmon.

VeggieMel,
It's kind of like a mini personal blender.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE mine!
They are the perfect size to make a smoothie in, and with the cups with the handles, you don't even have to pour it into another glass!
For my smoothies I take a frozen banana (already cut up into pieces and then frozen) A tsp of raw honey/agave, and whatever fruit I have on hand (and maybe a little water depending on how juicy the fruit is) and whip it up!
Sometimes I'll add a little cocoa powder too. yummy!
