Hi, everyone!

I used to bake Mrs Fields' style cookies, and the whole family misses having a full cookie barrel. The raw ones I've tried have been quite ordinary (as opposed to other desserts, which are amazing!).

Now, I'm not looking for Mrs Fields, but does anyone have any REALLY good recipes? (I have already tried Alissa's macadamia and banana ones and I didn't like them).

Thanks!

I JUST POSTED A MESSAGE TO RAINBOWANGEL TO SAY HOW MUCH I LOVED HER CACOA COOKIE. IT'S SIMPLE AND EASY HERE IT IS:
1 CUP CASHEWS
1/2 CUP ALMONDS
CACOA (TO YOUR LIKING)
AGAVE (AS MUCH AS YOU'D LIKE IF YOU DON'T LIKE VERY SWEET JUST ADD A LITTLE AGAVE AND WATER)
1 TSP VANILLA
grind cashews up in blender then grind almonds mix together and add cacao and agave and vanilla till it's just doughy enough to form into cookies. put on a tflex sheet and dehydrate for 4 hours and then sit down and enjoy them with a cup of almond milk.

p.s I actually left mine in the dehydrater longer because I like the more cooked affect. when I ate them it was with raw ice cream and I put the cookie into the side of the ice cream bowl, then when I ate the cookie I really like the hardness of the cookie, so I put a few in the freezer.
Enjoy

Mmmm, try the Caramel Coconut Cookies from Living Cuisine. Here is a link to the recipe....

I put way less cinnamon and nutmeg, and added some cardamon, then dehydrated them for about 12 hours, flipping in the middle and they are wonderfully crisp on the outside and chewy in the center. Wonderful! I will be posting a picture in the Photo thread shortly.

Thanks!
Yup, they did turn out wonderfully. I packed them into a round cookie cutter - something I had never tried before - and I am really happy with the results. Although, I still would have eaten the whole batch even if they were little messy blobs.:D

Some of our favorites are Maraw's creations: the Chocolate and Lemon Chewies and her Nut Crumble Cookies. Mmmmmmmm! Sooooooooo good!

The recipes are posted on her site:

Juliano's Fudge Cookies totally remind me of Mrs. Fields- they're sooo good
But his recipe is a little backwards but here is what I think I did (I'll be making these again soon and will let you know for sure):

Jul's Cashew Butter Fudge Cookies
2 1/2 c fresh coconut meat
1 c maple syrup (not raw)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 c cashew butter
2 c chocolate powder
1/3 c chopped macadamia's, cashews, or pecans

In a food processor purree the coconut meat, maple, and vanilla until creamy. Add cashew butter and chocolate powder and puree. Form the mixture into cookie shapes and press in mac halves. Place on a teflex sheet and dehydrate at 90 F for 18 hours. He says this makes 12 cookies, but I remember getting like 24 cookies.

I switched the order of when to put the macs in and the amount of maple and chocolate, b/c the first time I made them the batter was way too goopy.

I'll start on alkl your suggestions and let you all know!!

I love the Caramel Coconut Cookies too and for fun sometimes I make a batch of Erin's Store Bought Frosting (recipe on this site) to drizzle on the top of them. Double yum!

The Caramel Coconut Cookies are in my dehydrator at this very moment. I am anxiously awaiting for them...though I couldn't help tasting the dough & all I can say is YUM!
