hi i just started on raw on monday, it's my first time doing these but i was eating kind of healthy before. Since monday i've been 100 % raw, and eating a lot, as much fruits, veggies and nuts i wanted and i was fine

but then on thursday i was feeling so tired and had a horrible headache (i never have headaches) i had to take a nap and on friday the same thing. Then today i tried a green smoothie in the morning and plus i've eaten fruits, nuts and a salad and i feel horribly exausted i have taken 2 naps already !!

is this normal or am i doing something wrong?
any help would be appreciated

Could very well be detox. Sounds like you're eating the right things- just make sure you're eating enough of it. If you don't have enough food, your body won't have energy. Keep eating raw. :)

OMG! I just posted like the same thing!!!!! I'm on day 14 and THIS IS HORRIBLE!!!!! Are you so tired you don't even want to move your arms, OR FINGERS TO TYPE THIs??? I'm gonna keep an eye on your post and you should for mine too!

I hope that if this IS detox it goes away soon!!!! It's getting worse EVERY DAY!!!!

It definitely sounds like detox. Rest a lot, eat lightly, be patient and you will feel better soon!!

Congratulations on going raw!!

It does sound like detox. Here is my take. I REALLY don't have time for detox. I have a child with special needs that I have to keep up with ALL of the time. And I too have the days where I am lethargic and have KILLER headaches. Those days, the ABSOLUTE HAVE TO'S are the ONLY things that get done! Sorry for all the caps, but I feel that can't be emphasized enough. The days you are detoxing are not the days to tackle things that aren't absolute necessities.

Now, the days after detox, the ones where you are feeling so much better, they are the days to catch up and then some! Let your body go through the detox. Give it what it needs, rest, relaxation, lots of pure water. Listen to your body and give it what it needs. It's so much smarter than what most people give it credit for.
