Reason why I am asking is this book I am reading on raw/living food and detoxing and cleansing the body says that you cant just drink tap water or spring or bottled water but you have to drink balanced structured/clustered water, which btw...is very expensive....he said you could drink water and add lemon and unrefined sea salt to it to help...so I dont know what to do because buying more water is going to cost anyways and I really cant afford the water he is talking about so do you have any suggestions? Could I just use a brita filter and drink my own tap water after going through the filter? Thanks for you help!

You could do a Brita filter. I have an under the sink (for my kitchen) and a shower head filter. What I use is
www.aquasana.com
They are great folks to deal with! The filters are changed every six months - easy, easy installation.
It wasn't the top of the line, but after researching and comparing what it removed and all, I went with aquasana.
Good luck in your search!

I used to buy cases of bottled water at the supermarket but then I switched to using a PUR faucet mount (http://www.filtersfast.com/PUR-3-Stage-Faucet-Mount-Water-Filter.asp)water filter. I have a dozen 16oz Nalgene water bottles (http://www.ems.com/catalog/product_detail_square.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=8455 24442583125&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=282574488340521&bmUID=1172330432339&emssrclnk=crosssell)that I keep in the fridge, filled with filter water.

veganforlife, that aquasana sounds pretty good actually. Their website is not set up the best, but when I finally found the page explaining what it does, it says it takes out the bad stuff (chlorine, lead, etc) and leaves in the natural trace minerals, that's really cool. I have a water cooler in my house and get my huge bottles refilled at Pure Water Co. It's reverse osmosis water. Very pure. But I believe it removes everything in the water, natural minerals and everything. So I've never been completely convinced this is the best. Pure Water Co. tells me the minerals in water are not minerals used by the human body but by plants, etc. But I really don't know if that's true or not... I do think it's better than drinking my tap water... but... when I can afford a filter, I'll probably switch...

Penta water is like $35 dollars a case! I drink a lot of water! I would have to take out a loan. Right now I am drinking distilled water. I agree though that Penta water is the best.

well....I would love to be able to buy penta water like some of you do because it sounds very good for you but I just cant afford it so I purchased a brita aquaview filtration faucet system for our faucet that attaches on and has an on and off switch, for like if Im doing dishes I dont need it filtrated and it also has a green, yellow and red light telling me when I need to change the filter and it looks like it keeps out a lot more than just the brita filter pitcher itself! So I will try that for now with lemon and unrefined sea salt in my water like Dr. Timothy Brantley suggested!

I use the Nikken PiMag water system http://www.nikken.com/product.cfm?ThemeID=4&GetProductGroup=PiMag%E2%84%A2%20Water%20Technolog y
I love that we can just use our own tap water. I love that we dont have to BUY water and I hate the idea of having to recycle so many bottles of water.
This is a perfect system for us, AND the water tastes Great!
