View Full Version : Extruded Raw/Sprouted grain pasta???

I just set up my new Omega 8005 and was wondering if anyone uses their pasta attachments with the blank plate to make sprouted grain pasta and then dehydrate it a bit. It seems as if it would work...I was just wondering if anyone had done it..what grains work best..etc.
I tried a search with no success.....

Eliabeth, I have also wondered, but never tried. I also have an Omega which I LOVE! Maybe give it a try. I would almost "blank plate" some grains, with ground "wet" flax seed???? Give it a try, if it doesn't work, you could always "regrind" everything....add some stuff, and make crackers.:D
