Hi!
I get quite excited due to all the positive remarks about the Vitamix and all the other high speed blenders mentioned here. I am thinking about gettig one.
But one thing irritates me:
I read somewhere that vitamins are destroyed if they are extracted at high speed as done in the low cost juicers. Therfore I bought a Greenlife juicer years ago.
And then I read that the destruction of the vitamins is supposed to be due to the air they get in contact with. They plainly get oxidised and loose their value.
What about using the high speed mixers for vegetables and/or fruits? Sounds contradictory for me.
I would buy one because I then can produce real (smoothie) nut milks...
Bye,
Andreas
