Did you freeze the mini-calzone crusts?

Nah, those crusts hadn't made it to the freezer just yet - I had just pulled them out of the dehydrator yesterday and I got "the urge" - so I whipped up one and have half of it to my husband and he wolfed it down! :) I assembled one more last night to have for today's lunch and the other crusts are now in the freezer. So, if I remember to, I'll let you know how they turn out after having been frozen and then thawed. But I know that Veganforlife (I think it was) froze the calzone, thawed and warmed in the dehyrator and since I did use the calzone crust recipe for the pizza crust, it should (hopefully) work out just fine!

Yep, it was me. The calzone really froze well and heated up nicely in the dehydrator. I'm gonna have to give those mini crusts a whirl!!! Cool!

Okay ladies,
I have to call you the calzone queens. I know Rawks is not cracking. Vegan how about your crusts cracking? Mine keep cracking and to make it a calzone would be impossible. Yes, to making it a cracker or even cracker crumbs. Today I'm ready for another attempt and see what is going on. It spreads nicely and think into rounds on the sheets, but then it is so soft it cracks. I do store them dried in a plastic tub actually as rounds, but then the challenge actually kicks in...broken crackers, etc....I suppose I am not supposed to hold them.

Thought I would mention it here as you two are the Queens so you have to doing something right. Thanks sisters.

Yours don't crack, mine do, so maybe we can figure out the difference. I'll try again today and see where it goes. Maybe I am letting it dry too long? Thanks.
