Teflex Sheets

I got rid of all my teflon cookware a year or so ago because of the fluoride outgassing. Here's some info about it:

I was wondering if people thought the teflex sheets used in dehydrators are a problem, since they are coated with telfon?

I read recently somewhere that because there is no heat involved they are safe.

Excaliber is selling out on their teflex sheets and going to all disposable liners. They r selling them real cheap. I wondered about this also when i read that.

The only way i can see to be safe is to not only give up the teflex but all plastics and that includes a lot of what is in my cupboards. I am starting to buy glass when I can find it and seeing as how i dont cook anymore I dont worry bout the teflon pots and pans. The pots and pans r suppose to be safe if u use low heat but I live with my son and DIL and she keeps on using high heat. I can only say so much about it.

You can also just buy parchment paper in rolls and use that?:D
