What kind of olives can you eat on this diet (besides ones from Alissa's website, we just ordered some last night)?
This diet is costing a lot more that what we are used to spending on groceries, which is fine for me it is 100% worth it, but for my husband it is a little harder on him. I'm trying to much as much stuff from a regular supermarket as I can, so is there olives I can buy from one?

Initially I thought it cost more too, but when I weighed in the fact I'm not using any gas cooking, plus at what cost do you define your health? Meaning in the long run I won't be taking meds and going to the docs, etc.
Here is where I get my olives. Depending what type you like. I love the kalamata. These are great folks to deal with.

I second that! Also, those olives are awesome- my favorite!
Roots Market (MD) used to carry these and I was so excited to
find them there- now they stopped. I'll probably go talk to
customer service soon. I could eat those all day and night! :p

Nicole, in the beginning it is expensive because you have to get the staples. But once you have them, it's really not as expensive for me as when I ate meat and cooked.
I don't buy all the junk food and I spend between $25 and $30 per week on food. To me that's less than I used to spend. Maybe once a month I spend more when I stock up on nuts but that's it.
You'll see.
Also, right now you're probably tossing out food.
Once you figure out how much you'll eat you may cut back on the recipes, saving money. I rarely make a full recipe of anything.
I also tend to just eat a few pieces of fruit now, rather than whip up an entire meal.
