Hello!
My name is Linda and I notice there are a lot of Lindas here! Super! I'm finally getting on this board. I'm on the rawteacher board as well. I haven't been a big forum person before so I'm not sure how much I'll be participating. But know that I'm here for you and hope you'll be here for me as well.
I've been on the raw food journey since 2001. I am currently at 100% thanks to Alissa's book and classes. They were just what I needed and I'm deeply grateful. I teach Alissa's classes as well as my own and I love it. I'm currently working on a number of raw food endeavors and I'll let you know as they happen. I'm totally psyched and hopeful and love this journey that I'm on.
I'm here in Central Vermont spreading the RAWsome word! :-) I'm just having fun and finding more joy in my life.
Looking forward to meeting you.
Take good care,
Linda

I mean it - when Linda's husband came to visit us (he was in our wedding - dear friend of my husband's) in late December, I was a 16. I'm now a 10. She brought me to raw - thanks!!

what a super welcome! Thanks everyone! I am so desiring that I can have this raw spirit with me in my local community here. It makes SUCH a difference when people are on their raw journeys with others. That's what makes these online groups so important.
I just had a little buying club meeting here at my house last night and the attendees were all very nice and powerful women who are also all suffering - grumpy, tired, sick, overwhelmed and all that stuff. I feel like I stick out a bit because I'm the one sitting with a huge smile, laughing and coloring with my daughter as we talk. I know it rubs off and I know that eventually people will be moving towards more raw foods in their diets (I give them samples of food when they are with me - I find it helps with the mood of the meetings) but I'm just writing this because it is SUCH a difference. I'm sure everyone on this list knows what I'm talking about. I just want to say to them, "GO RAW! All these things that you feel now will totally change..." But I opt for giving them food samples and just being me. It seems to work for those that want it and who are ready.
Hi Becca! So glad you're here! Now I don't have to ask you for all the recipes that get posted on this list! HA! :-) Hope you can come out to visit us sometime. We have space for visitors!
I look forward to checking out the posts on this forum. I'm limited with time on the computer (thankfully! I have been working on the computer since 1991 so it's nice to have limited time on the computer now.) I'll check out those Appreciation and Abundance posts. That's my thang for sure! :-)
OK, I'm getting back to work. I'm sending out my weekly newsletter to my little list of RAWsome recipients. I love it!
Lots of love and peace,
Linda

I saw one of your posts on the rawteacher board and I loved it. It struck me because you had the class near the beach in NJ - can't quite remember where exactly but I'm from NJ. I grew up in Eatontown and spent all my time at the beach (Long Branch, Spring Lake, Belmar, Manasquan, etc.) so your post was like a little homecoming for me. It was your Level 2 experience post and it was a great read, for many reasons.
Thanks for the welcome and it is a beautiful place.
Take good care,
Linda
