Good Evening,

I have been slowly incorporating more raw food into our diet and have been experimenting with all kinds of recipes. I have many questions but my first is... can anyone recommend some good books other than Alissa's? I have enjoyed her book but I am seeking more recipes. We are waiting on our dehydrator so we haven't been able to branch out too much yet. I have had some great luck choosing recipes and some not so much! It's so hard to tell which ones are going to be good and which aren't, which is why I cherish this board and all of your suggestions and comments. Sooo, today I purchased Living in the Raw because the recipes looked simple and a little different from Alissa's. I also have RAW by Juliano but most of those recipes just require way too many ingredients. I have a one year old, am completely sleep deprived, and simply don't have the energy for a lot of ingredients :o .

Thanks in advance and thank you all for posting such wonderful advice to us Newbies.

Hi there!

This recent thread may be helpful to you. I've yet to experiment with other raw cookbooks (though I have my own collection started from internet searches). Glad you're here.

Oh - and given your situation, I know a lot of people love the book Raw Foods for Busy People. Alissa's still remains the best, of course. But that might be good for you, too.

I'd also recommend Raw Food Made Easy for 1 or 2 People.
