Please tell me how do you use it?
I've put some in water and drank it, i like it this way but i need other ideas for using it.
Thanks.

I have frozen extra ginger root in the past. Right off the top of my head I'm not sure about how to use it.
::thinking out loud::

um ginger cookies? ginger/date/nut/coconut something or other?

Maybe use a crust for a pie and add some, like a ginger/mango pie?

Mmmm, I wonder if you could "candy" it somehow in the dehydrator?

I put it in all my juices - it gives a "zingy" flavor, and it will warm you up!

YOu can pickle the ginger, too. I have never done it, but it seems as if I remember seeing something about slicing it thinly, and covering with vinegar and water. Keep refrigerated.

I do add ginger to my morning smoothies, and love it! Add it to carrot, beet soups and salads.

Good luck.

Yummy Asian Dressing

1 inch ginger root chopped
2 tsp of tahini
juice of one lemon
1 garlic clove
3 tsp nama shoyu
2 tsp honey

I think that's all. That may not be exactly right. I think I got it from Natalia Rose.

It is sooooo good. I am having it again for lunch.
