View Full Version : Recipe serving sizes

In Alissa's book, the recipes do not state how many servings are in them. I am preparing meals for four adults (Myself, my husband, his brother and his sister-in-law). We were thinking that the recipes are mainly just for one person, should I multiply everything by four.. I'm kind of confused.

Everything I've made makes HUGE quantities. I'd make the recipe as is the first time. I doubt you would have to little food. If you read the 30 day challenge Alissa says that her "what to make plan" makes a ton of food.

Oh no! I wouldn't even double her recipes! They are more than enough for four people.
One thing about eating raw, you fill up fast. You are eating living foods. Not empty foods.
What are you thinking of preparing?

For now we are sticking to Alissa's four week plan. So for this week it is Fettuccini Alfredo, Mock Salmon Pate, Date Nut Torte, Alissa's Dressing, Pad Thai, Collard Rolls, Banana Ice Cream, Creamy Italian Herb Dressing, along with some other desserts and snacks.

Thank you though, that helps a lot, b/c we were thinking we needed to quad everything! We would have had SO MUCH FOOD, lol.

So far today I am 100% raw and loving it. So far, this is pretty easy and very exciting!

Cool! No problem then. Those recipes make good amounts.
Raw IS so much fun AND easy AND tastes good.
