A few days ago, I went to the Nature's First Law store in San Diego. Unfortunately, they were almost all packed up to move to a different address, but they had a few items out, so I purchased some raw cacao nibs. I tasted them, and they taste great even though they're slightly bitter. Do you have any recipes for using these delicious little morsels??
Best to all of you,
Melanie

Here's some. Also their book Naked Chocolate has some more. I haven't really had a lot of things with them though.
One thing I have had though: blend a couple coconut flesh and water in a blender and add grinded cocoa nibs. Makes a chocolate coconut drink!

Thanks. I bet the coconut meat, milk and cacao nibs is incredible. I have a couple young coconuts in the fridge right now.

What are a few good ways to prepare cacao nibs, because plain they are disgusting! I need help because I am a chocoholic and I am going to have to wait to receive my carob powder.
grind them into a powder in your coffee grinder and put them in smoothies with agave to sweeten them up. Or make chocolate icecream out of them with frozen bananas and agave. There is also a good raw recipe floating on this site for raw fudge and it is marvelous!
