Hi all. This seems to be the place for talking about fasting. I've been raw for about a month this time and have decided to go on a 30 day green juice fast to help cleanse physical and emotional toxins that seem to crop up every time I start to go raw. I love the raw food lifestyle and plan on making it permanent, but I always get some anxiety and other junk coming to the surface when I try to be good to myself. I feel that taking solid food out of the equation for a little while will be a good thing. I am afraid to go on a water fast too soon because of my SAD for the past year. I know I have lots of detoxing to do.
I just wanted to post my intentions here because I want to be accountable (and maybe get a little bit of support ;) ) Most people just look at me like I am crazy when I tell them about what I'm doing. I would really appreciate any feedback or experiences you all have had while fasting. Thanks in advance for any response!
Oh, yeah. Forgot to mention that I'm starting my fast tomorrow!
