Is there any way, by the slimmest of all slim chances, you can let me know when you're dehydrator will be ready?
I want a new one - but I'd like to wait and possibly buy yours!

Absolutely! I really don’t know yet. I think ill have a prototype in April and it should go quick after that. I can let you know as soon as I know. Ill probably announce it a month before and ill post it here for sure.
Thanks!

They won’t be out for a while. Enjoy your dehydrator now and then you can upgrade! ;)

Ya that was what I was thinking...

I was going to try and be simple and not get no gadgets other then a food processor but when I looked at some of your recipes I knew I couldn't live without a dehydrator! Hubby isn't on board with going raw, but he said go for it so I went for the 9tray instead of the 5 like I was going to do lol I suppose he shows his support one way or another ;)

I also have a 2yo that I'm going to go raw with, I've already seen a difference in him this past week which is great! Now if I can get him on a proper sleeping schedule it'd be wonderful!

oh and colors ... hmmmmmmmmm
my kitchen is done up in deep red/burgandy - mustard yellow and sage green lol I think a deep red would be pretty up agains't stainless and black accents ;)

My birthday is in June so maybe if its ready by then thats what I'll buy myself lol ( YES I buy all my own presents - its gotta get done somehow right? )

I'm wide open. But the colors on the new site are inspiring ... as I'm sure you've noted in the feedback. Nature nurtures nature, it seems. :)

That’s great! I was thinking a deep red or mahogany color to fit in with wood and white kitchens, etc..

um...I've never owned a dehydrator before. So I'm not sure how hard or easy it is to clean it. As long as there is a color that is mess-friendly! :D

Oh yeah!
A bright patent barn red would look amazing in anyone's kitchen. This color will be a definite must and will surely be every raw woman's dream to have in her kitchen. I am loving my black excalibur but cannot wait to upgrade!

Of course when I decide to get the EXCAL, The Alissa Cohen one comes out LOL.

This is not a suck up it comes from the heart

Alissa do you feel the energy and love that's here, why on Earth would you want the hassles of the other. Why do you need Stress? Your acreage in Maine sounds wonderful a much better purchase IMHO. Look at how many people you have reached. through YOU HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE HEALED , SAVED, enlightened. Just by providing us with is site. Your mission of making RAW a common name with Your guest spots on Morning shows, and Tyra.Seems like all the things Raw you have touched has turned to gold and you trusted your instincts this far soo Que Sera SERA.

I wish you the best, for you derserve to be treated no less than excellent!!!

PINK see through!

How cool would that be ;)

The idea of colors is cool, and my first thought, was "WEEEE, I want fuschia", but really, when it comes down to spending what I imagine will be at least a few hundred dollars, I won't want a florescent colored dehydrator taking up most of the space on my kitchen counter.
So, put me down for stainless steel or black, please.

What about all colors of the rainbow:)

1. The dehydrator changes its basic color depending on the temperature. Painted with liquid crystals.

Or this variety...

2. three basic colors optional, plus coated with another type of liquid crystals... they start scintillating when the temperature is changing - the dehydrator is operating – thousands of brilliantly sparkling stars with the rainbow color of a CD in sunshine!

(Sorry guys, to expensive today and only on the lab level.
But in the future... ;) )

What is Morningstar referring to? Is Alissa making a big change?

Where in the world did everyone pick up on all this news? I am so excited!

My vote is with deep red . . . to go with my rooster theme and my red vitamix! I've told so many people about this . . . can't hardly wait Alissa! But I guess I'll have to.

Alissa,

I wonder if you would consider asking the designers to think about making some sort of way to remove seeds easier and less messy. Maybe a catch tray at the bottom of each tray or something...? I really don't know. Or maybe this is only my problem, not being too savvy with dehydrators?? They fall through to the bottom and getting them into a container, etc., they end up on the counter and the floor, and into the trash, eventually.

I don't dehydrate often, but every time I have, I lose at least 1/4 C of seeds; so I always make more than I will need.

Does this happen to anyone else? Or does it depend on what dehydrator you all have?

Best,

Nix

DRATS!!! I just bought my excaliber last year...and had to save big time for that!
My color votes would be:
RED (my personal favorite color...I even painted my bedroom that color...I know...TMI!;) )
STAINLESS STEEL
BLACK

I love the new site.....by the way. Maybe I need to check out the store and see if there is anything new there!

Thanks Alissa! I sure PRAY this site doesn't go anywhere.....I know you'll be busy and all with the new restaurant.....but I'd find it VERY hard to stay raw without my friends here! A HUGE THANK YOU TO YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!
