Okay, I was wondering what products to buy to make those little candy shapes. Do I buy candy molds? Ice cube trays? Where do I purchase those at? (smile). Can you tell I don't cook much?
Also, I have frozen bananas for different things and they turn brown/black within the next day. How long do they keep for? They might be good but I wouldnt' serve them to others looking like that.

Hmm. Re: the bananas... not sure how long they keep... you do peel them before you stick them in the freezer, yeah?

Yep. I peel them and put them in a plastic bag.

Dip in lemon juice or orange juice first.
Or prep into dessert optio before freezing
I roll my bananas in honey or agave then nuts mixed with coconut flakes or cacao powder then I freeze.
Like a popsicle treat
Also consider putting at top of freezer or turn freezer up. They really should freeze before browning

Yeah, I've had the problem of browning bananas and for me it was because the freezer got turned down somehow. Now it's up nice and high and they stay white.

I bought a bag of little cookie cutters at the local dollar store - maybe 15 shapes for $2. I have also seen tiny cookie cutters at Walmart, but that may have been just for the Christmas season. You could also try the kids section of toy stores, even Playdoh sells tiny cutters that could be used for cookies, fudge, etc.
Also, I have seen some posters here talk about little fluted metal pans that they use for tarts and chocolate - I have seen those in the baking section, along with some pretty paper cups that would be nice for balls, etc.
Hope this helps.

Ikea sells neat ice trays - stars, hearts, etc... My kids love them, and they make cute raw treats!

What do you put into them? I ask because I find most of the raw food I make to be quite crumbly or soft, so how do you get things to stay together well enough to still hold the cute shape when you take it out of the tray? I assume you freeze the treats, is the tray flexible?
