Hello,

I made cinnamon rolls last night (from Serene's book), but they are quite hard. I over-dehydrated them :-( I've topped some of them with Rawkinlock's frosting hoping that will soften them up. Any suggestions on what I can do to get them soft and chewy?

By the way, today is my 40th birthday and as a present to me my family is doing a 3 week high raw diet with me. My 8 year old even thanked me for her green spinach-pear smoothie this morning even though she was struggling to get it down because she doesn't like pears :-)

Thanks for any advice.

Tina

Happy Birthday!! :)

I'd probably put them in a plastic bag (maybe place a dampened paper towel in the with it (beneath the rolls) and seal it and let it sit out for a little while and see if that helps.

One other thing may be to make that frosting into an icing (blend with more orange juice, lemon juice or water) to make it thinner and pour onto the rolls - that may soften them up a little as well.

Happy Birhday:D

Take the ones that aren't iced and place in food proccessor add water or juice from apples to rehydrate. Form mixture into cookies rehydrate and make cinnamon crunch cookies.

Or just place in gallon size ziplopc bag beat with rolling pin and make into crumbles place in bowl pour almond milk on top plus sliced bananas for milk and cereal.
