View Full Version : Flaxseed/Linseeds
I couldn't find any flaxseeds to make crackers with but I found some golden linseeds instead - could I use these in the same way to make the crackers in Alissa's book?

Linseeds and flax seeds are the same thing.
Golden flax is supposed to be easier to digest and gentler on the system, and it has a milder taste than the brown.
What about adding them whole to other recipes? Do they need to be ground for better absorption?? Do they 'pass out' whole if not ground and so do you get the max benefit??
Yes, they seem to pass through whole if you don't grind them.
