So... I got Alissa's book yesterday and it is SO great! I originally was thinking... right, OK another raw recipe book (I have plenty!). But It is so FULL of information and the recipe quality is astounding! I've already tried a few... she's SO creative! I made the swiss cheeze last night. It really does taste like swiss cheese. Crazy. Thank God for Nutritional Yeast!
Anyway I can't wait to make that lasagna!
Oh o o... and I made the applesauce for breakfast (for my daughter - but she suddenly has this aversion to apples  .... ) so I ate it!!! It was delicious. I've made raw apple sauce before (in the Champion) and I thought it was runny and kind of wierd... but NO - this was really good!
Ok I've had my say. I'm going for TOTAL 100% raw 30 days. I'm going to post pictures and all (after the board gets cleaned off). No more bite of this here, soy sauce instead of nama shoyu (I have braggs now)... this and that. I can do 100% for 30 days solid.
Her book is very inspiring. I also like her straight forward approach - she's very blunt! In a good way.
Thanks Alissa! You're doing good work bring this raw lifestyle (gift!) to the rest of us!

Yes her book is the best, and I have several others.

Alissa is the one who inspired me to go raw.....her website was the first I came across when I first began.

I've met her at two of her events and she is super nice in person!!!! The first time I met her at a dinner event she had a a raw restaurant in Beverly, MA......that's when I bought her book and she signed it for me. The second time I met her was at a Boston Harbor Cruise she had and I brought my hubby, sister and her boyfriend with me (all non raw fooders) and we had a blast!

Enjoy the book......you'll LOVE it.
