Cocoa nibs

Alright... I just bought these. What do I do with them???

you can put them in smoothies, or make choco chip cookies with them. some people eat them out of the bag, but thats a huuuuuge no for me. blech. mix it with something sweet though ( bananas, dates, honey/agave ) and youve got yourself some yummy choco bites. maybe in a trailmix with some dried fruit so in a handful youll have the nibs and the fruit and itll blend nicely in your..mouth?

make hot cocoa, mmmmmmmm

raw of course,

1 cup almond milk
dash cayenne
3 medjool dates, pitted not soaked
1 T cacao powder (nibs ground)

blend in a Vita Mix until warm, or blend in a Vita Mix, then warm on the stove to finger warm

You can grind them up further to have raw cocoa powder or do as I do and just eat them out of the bag. Or I should say that I used to do. Can't do that now with GERD. Too painful!

I grind them up with a few dates until sticky, press it into an individual ramikin dish, frezze for an hour, then devour..... :D

what can't you do with them?!?!
smoothies, puddings, desserts, toppings, mole sauces, nut butter flavoring. . . oh they are complete bits of heaven! (not very specific, i know but it's almost overwhelming to begin to describe the uses for them!)

My favorite is making chocolate mousse with an avocado, cocoa powder, raw honey, coconut butter and carob powder - yum! :p

Can I use my Champion w/the blank plate to grind them?

Thanks for all the yummy suggestions... I've been using Green & Black's cocoa powder... but, for the sake of raw I'm switching over to cocoa nibs.
I LOOOVVEEE Hot cocoa - so I'm glad to know I can use the cocoa nibs for it!
