View Full Version : What Did You Eat Today?

I had a night out with my husband because I work tomorrow night. We went to a restaurant that had a nice salad bar, and I made myself a rather huge dish of broccoli florets, raisins, sesame seeds, mushrooms, and a little red onion, some olive oil and a squeezed fresh orange from the salad bar. It was fabulous. I started with a dish of grapes and pineapple. Needless to say, I ate too much and was almost uncomfortably full. (I had eaten before we went thinking that I would rather not be that hungry when I got there incase there wasn't a good selection.)

That worked out great. Earlier today also had a half a cantaloup, 2 apples with a nut dip made out of almonds, flax seeds, raw honey, walnuts and dates (my junk food), 2 bananas, and a salad made out of romain lettuce and chopped kale, sprouts, apple, carrots, lemon juice and olive oil. I still think I am eating too much, but oh well. I am getting a lot of nutrition and eventually I will desire to eat less to feel full. It added up to about 3000 calories. This is definatly a hard diet to loose weight on.

Well, today I had a hemp protein shake with rice milk.. I wonder if thats raw food ok???

So far today I had some Almond Apricot cookies from Alissa's book and lots of water.

well, it's early, but so far I had buckwheat porridge with raisins and banana with sesame milk-yum!

So far... a bunch of yummy fruit (pineapple, watermelon, honey dew) and a big green salad.

for breakfast I had a smoothie of young coconut water and meat, banana, and raspberry/strawberry with a bit of agave.

lunch was a three-side from yabba pot of raw curried spinach, mock tuna and avocado salad. yum.

Food today:
Morning: one cantaloupe
snack of organic Iranian dates later

Afternoon: bananas and berries

Evening: apples, organic greens salad with tomatoes and celery, 1 tbsp of ground sesame seeds.
