Hi everyone, I ordered the books and am waiting for them and now I am seeing Alissa's supplements......Are they all needed to do this successfully or which ones are essential?
I have been reading on here about people losing some hair and stuff is that because they didn't use the supplements?

Maybe but I don't know for sure. I am one of those people who started to lose hair after about 4 months very high raw. I went and got tests done and all my nutrient levels were fine and my thyroid was okay so I really dont know what it was. Some say it was detox which it could of been although any hair loss is definitly cause for concern.
I hate to say it but eating less raw foods was the only thing that worked to stop the hair loss. I am now about 65% raw and that is good for me.

I wish I knew what I was doing wrong but I don't.

if youve never been vegan before you may not know about vitamin B 12 possibly needing to be supplimented .

people still debate it but some very smart people that have done studies say you need to suppliment it .

its an important topic for vegans to be up on .

look for the type that say vegetarian formula on bottle .

Losing hair must be just plain scary. To most, it would surely seem like a sign that there is something majorly wrong with the diet. But I've read several times from different sources that it can be a natural step of detoxing and afterwards much better quality hair grows in. We all have different constitutional faultlines when it comes to how we personally detox.
Not raw related, but the funniest nonfiction book I ever read called Holy Cow about an Australian gal who lives in India had her hair fall out after switching diets and had it grow back healthier. Highly recommend that book for a delightful spiritual adventure. Love Stina on the Oregon coast
