Hi
My name is Molly and I have been slowly learning about eating raw (for about 2 months) and finally felt confident and prepared enough to take the plunge and I am loving it!!! The key for me really has been knowing what to eat and planning a few easy meals so I'm not stuck in the evening with nothing to eat. I really do get full AND satisfied, which is a new feeling for me. I am hoping to lose a little weight, but mostly want to have more energy and not feel like I am fighting with food all the time. So far, I'm liking it!! (OK, it's only been 4 days, but that's pretty good for me!)

Welcome! Incorporate some green smoothies into your diet. Way easy and filling.
Such as:
2 cups filtered water
handful of greens (your choice - me? I like spinach)
a banana
another fruit of your choice
blend and you got a power drink!

I have just started looking into this and have ordered the books and DVD and am still waiting. I was curious if she has a nice sample grocery list of what it would be like for a family of 2 adults (we have two small children so they don't each A LOT) in her book? Or does anyone out there have an idea of what a grocery list for the raw food diet looks like for a week? I would like to go shopping for some food before the books come!! We now go to our health food store, but I have no idea what half the stuff is!! HELP!!

Oh yeah - she does. She covers just about every question you have about going raw. How about doing a banana search (up top :rolleyes: ) and see if there's a grocery list question already answered?
