Fairygirl,

I haven't posted here for a very long time. I'm a raw-fooder off and and on. This Friday for my birthday my family will start a 3 week raw-food diet with me (well, about 85% raw for myself and my husband, the children will just be trying to eat more raw and healthier).

Anyway, I've been looking at the photos to get inspired. They all look so wonderful. I have the recipe for the brownies, but was hoping you could pass on the recipe for the white frosting you put on top. I'm thinking of making these for my birthday "cake".

Thank you in advance,
Tina

I'm not sure which frosting Fairygirl used, but there are 2 frostings that MANY members have used to frost RP's wonderful brownies...

There's:

Store Bought Frosting (created by member Eachpeachpearplum)

1T. coconut butter
1T. cocoa
few grains sea salt
squirt agave
few drops vanilla

You might want to triple it.... ;)

And the frosting from Rawkinloc's Cinnamon Rolls, found in this link:

For any newbies coming across this thread, here's a link to RP's brownie recipe:

Let us know how it goes! :)

The "store bought frosting" is the best for "chocolate frosting". I love it. Of course, I've never made Rawkinlocs frosting though.
Try Raw Priestess' recipe for brownies....if I remember correctly:
1 cup each of walnuts and dates
1/4 cup carob or cacao.
Put in the food processor and process until crumbly.....put on a plate and make into a flat, "brownie" shape, or make into balls...but if you are using frosting....flatten out....YUMMO!

RawFoodieMom and Wendi,

Thank you for your replies. Decisions, decisions on which frosting to try! I've read such rave reviews about RP's brownies that I can't wait to try them. I think fairygirl is traveling out of the country for awhile, so I appreciate you both responding to my question. Now I can have a yummy birthday treat!

Thanks again,
Tina
