Hello! Excited to find a forum like this! :D
I am on day 3 - I'm doing fruits, some veggies & nuts.
I was pretty sure I'd last about 5 hours, LOL...but I am very surprised how easy the going is! I hope I'm not setting myself up for a big crash, LOL...I don't think so though! I don't even want meat or garbage.
So - here I am! I need a place to feel supported & people to keep me in check, LOL!
A little about me...I am a SAHM of four, my baby (10 months) is my motivation. She's still nearly 100% breastfed & is starting to take more solids. The thought of her having meat or anything else turns my stomach. (And she hasn't...only fruits & veggies...and ONE bite of a McDonalds McFlurry... :o ) And I realize I can't just tell her no & eat it myself, so I am making an effort to lead by example. My 2nd and 3rd (ages 7 and 5) are along for the ride - day three as well - and no complaints! We always had a pretty good diet so it's not a RADICAL change...but still new & different. My oldest (8) is not happy. He LOVES baked goods. We'll see how that goes! Most surprisingly, my husband is joining me...he's on day three, but had Arby's once. :o
I have lots of motives...I love the earth, I love animals, and I love my family! I am very confidant we will be successful!
So, that's my story!
Looking fwd. to getting to know you all!
