Dog eats junk diet like the other two my daughter owns. This tiny dog had surgery for the tumor recently, returned and then burnt it, now it's back again all in about 1 month. Dog about 5 years old.

My suggestion is change dogs diet to raw as mine is on. Any other suggestions? Dog eats dry food diet 99.9999%. It's amazing her other two dogs are very old and ate this bad diet, but they did eat some fruits/veggies they love. Thanks.

OT: My son's cat died yesterday. His baby was baptized, then the big party, and then home to find the cat with no warning dead on his bed. He fed that cat a bad diet too and also nitrates daily for his meat. A sweet 7 year old cat. My kids won't listen about changing pets diet, and I can ony be the example by my 8 year old dog being like a puppy as she is raw 7 years.

Have a great day all.

My dog has severe allergies, chewing himself raw on his back, large black patches on his legs and stomach, ear irritations, rubbing his face al the time and chewing his feet.
Vet kept giving him steroids for the itching, but it made him weird and he would pee in the house all the time (german shepherd...lots of pee!!)
First thing I did was switch his diet from reg dry food to Eagle Pack Holistic Select, not vegan but all natural http://www.eaglepack.com/
Also put him on Nzymes http://www.eaglepack.com/ (great web site to check out!!) Gives him the enzymes he needs, like we are getting with raw food...site explains all about over heating food, processed foods, ect...
My dog is sooo much happier now!! Has a beautiful coat, doesn't chew himself as much (he's still detoxing so still some scratching) can't believe he's the same dog!! If you goto enzyme site check out Blizzards testimonial, my dog not as severe as that, but along the same lines.
Sorry to ramble on...hope this helps some!!

is the tumor on the eye or near the eye?

My best friend has her 2 dogs and 1 cat on mostly raw food. Her cat is now 16 years old and still very active. They get tons of raw fresh veggies, along with some organic meats from a company called Sojourns, I believe. Anyway, the cat had mouth cancer a few years back and was overweight. After going raw, the cancer has never come back and she's slim and active. Both dogs are rescues and are as fit and healthy as can be. Think about a dog out in the wild--they wouldn't be eating filler and processed junk. They'd eat grasses, meats and such. There is a fantastic book called Dr. Pitcairns guide to natural health for dogs and cats. I highly recommend it. :)

Tumor is on eye. My daughter thought it was gone, but it returned again. I have not had an update in few days. Thanks.
