I was wondering if you guys/gals took suplements at all? If so what kind? I know there is a list of stuff that comes with the book, but wondering which ones would be a must to take.

Thanks
Aenea

I believe supplements are fine for people who believe they need them. If it helps them feel better and more complete in their way of life, and keeps them eating raw food, then it's a good idea.

I personally do not take supplements. If I thought a raw, ripe, fruit/green based way of eating was deficient and not good enough for human nourishment, I'd not be choosing it as a lifestyle.

I don't buy into the well accepted notion that a meat (or cooked food) diet is superior nutritionally, and that since I don't eat meat (or cooked foods) therefore I must supplement to "make up" for it. I am secure in my way of eating for the first time in my life, and am happy to stay that way.

This is just my own personal way of looking at it.

I take "Body Balance" from Life Force. It's made from organic aloe vera and sea vegetables. No synthetic anything. I am in the process of finding out from the company if there is heat used in the processing ... will let you know what I find out. I take it only because I know that the soil our fruits and veggies grow in is not "prime", it's been depleted and I think getting the supplementation from deep in the ocean is probably the best bet since the ocean has its own filtration system.

We take enzymes & probiotics occasionally, and are trying to use up the last of our Source of Life green powder mix.... really that's just about it. I still have some Emergen-Cs and VitC for colds that I'll take sparingly until used up.

I do not take any "artificial" anything. Granted, there may be some good supplements out there, but I don't need them - that's just me. :D
