i have been lurking around for a little while...
I used to be a vegetarian in my early 20" for 5 years.
Therefore I am not new to the veggie world but to the Raw world.
I am so excited to see pictures and hear about everyone stories, what ever it was about better health, healing or loosing weight.
I gave birth not too long ago and when i was pregnant i use to go to Jugo Juice to buy (every other day) wheat Grass Juice but a couple of months before my due date i stopped drinking it. After that my blood pressure started to rise, until i was admitted to the hospital at 35 weeks (because of the blood pressure) and gave birth right at 37 weeks by C-section.
I am now convince that the Wheat Juice "RAW" was helping me regulating the pressure, the anemia because i have sickle cell and thasalamenia trait.
My husband is now suffering from low hemoglobine (anemia) and that is when i remembered the wheatgreass juice--I search with google--- and a world of RAw came about--and now here I am...
I am EXCITED! I have already ordered my almond/soya milk machine--just awaiting. I am now juicing everyday. I am trying to incorporate tones of RAW veggies in my diet. Now I am still cooking but hopefully soon i will be Raw--my goal to b e at least 80% RAW by the end of February. I need to buy a saladecco, a dehydrator and a vita-mix, any good place to buy?
Any how, I am happy to be on the right path and my daughter will thank me one day--that i am sure of!
