Hi everyone! I've been eating mostly raw since the new year, and I love it! I am studying at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, and plan to teach raw food prep classes someday in addition to my nutrition counselling. I love RAW.

Welcome! Do you have Alissa's book? It's filled with so much good info!

I have about 5 other raw books at the moment. Alissa's is #1 on my list right now. I just have to save a little money first. Living in Canada sucks sometimes for shipping and customs costs! I just bought a dehydrator, and I'm still recovering from all the added expenses! But I love it!

I travel to Toronto periodically for work and there is a wonderful restaurant there - Commensal (sp?). It is downtown near the downtown Marriott. Last time I visited I wasn't eating raw, but ate some delicious vegetarian and vegan food there. I wasn't looking for raw foods at that time. The food was fabulous. I'm going there the end of February and I'm hoping they also serve live/raw dishes. If you have any other restaurant recommendations in Toronto that serve live/raw food, please let me know. I usually stay at the Marriott downtown and work at Toronto General Hospital. So, any where downtown would be great.
This is going to be my biggest challenge - travelling and staying 100% RAW. I travel about 65% of the time and....I am determined to stay raw.
Have a bless day.

There is a great raw restaurant at Spadina and Dupont (basically right at the intersection: NE corner) called LIVE. You should definitely check it out when you come! I have been to Le Commensal too. Yummy food. Travelling raw must be a challenge because I find it difficult sometimes when I am hungry here in the city. Even at home it's hard sometimes!
