carrot pecan burgers

Has anyone substituted the pecans for walnuts? If so, how did it come out? Thanks!

Hey Rachel,
I have never done the substitution, but on Alissa's DVD
she said she use to make it with walnuts. She was out once
so she subbed the pecans and liked it even more.
So to answer your question I think it's totally acceptable to use
the walnuts instead! HTH

I just made my 3rd batch of these and I only had 1 cup of peacans so I did one cup of pecans and 1 cup of walnuts. This is my best batch so far. I mix sun dried tomatoes that I had soaked in this batch too YUM!!!!
