I have tried Rawvolution's delivery, they were good... but I would like to try some others. I live in MD.. so I dont want my food to come spoiled. Any recommendations would be helpful. I either want to order a weeks worth of food or a nice chocolate cheesecake.

I looked at the delivery from Rawvolution...you say you like it? It is a bit expensive but I thought it might be worth it to try some different recipes already prepared. How much food do you get (how many days/meals did it last)? What did they make for you?

wow, I've got the other problem-if I make more than one raw food dish at a time it goes to waste cause I'm the only one eating it my house! maybe I should send it out... ;)

I am the only one in my household.. so it did take me about five days to eat all the food. It was good when I first started raw to try someone elses food..and to motivate to learn how to fix my own gourmet meals. At the price charged.. I learned very quickly. If I was wealthy, I would order from him all the time just like the stars do, because the food WAS good and tasty.
Any recommendations for any others??

oh, yes, about having someone else make the food-Whole Foods in Ann Arbor, Michigan is now serving raw foods on their salad bar! The other day they had rawvioli, zucchini marinara, no-bean hummus and a pate. It was awesome! why is it if someone else makes something (like a restaurant), it has that "tastes great" quality, like when we get new tennis shoes we can run faster ;)

here's the previous post about catering.
Hello all you locals!
I'm Storm, founder of Lovefood Lane, a brand new (launched today, Valentine's Day!) raw foods catering/counselling/ company in Washington DC. Jonathan, my business and otherwise partner, is from Columbia, MD--we go there often and would love to meet those of you who are there. Please visit our website and keep in touch via email!
Also: if you can make it to the next NoVA Raw Foods Meetup, do! They're a really great bunch of people, and we always bring three new culinary concoctions with recipes to share!
(Sprouted) peas and love.

Hey MissRawDiva!
I live in DC, and there's a woman named LaVerne who sells good raw foods locally. Her web site is: www.theblessedrawdeal.com.
Also, don't forget that the new raw place in Mt. Rainier, MD is open for Sunday brunchs now! They are not yet open for the entire week, but they're getting there! It's called A Quest for Fresh and it's 2 doors down from Glut Food Co-op.
I know you're further out in MD, but you might just want to come in for a visit! :D
