I am in Spanish club and therefore have to participate in a national food fair. I was assigned an Indian dish. I could make something not raw, but I would much rather share the raw love. Any ideas?

How strange that being in the Spanish club you are asked to make Indian food?
You can made some kind of curried spinach dip with carrots. Avocados, spinach, curry, spices, etc.

From what I know of Indian food not much of it is raw. Perhaps dried fruits and nuts? They do eat these on special occasions.

I know there have been indian-ish recipes posted on here. Toss veggies with a curry sauce. I would use the banana search above and do a few searches... One for "indian" and a seperate one for "curry" and see what pops up. I second the indian spinach dip too (in alissa's book) it is delish!

Crazy Good Curry
Carmella recipe
Haven't seen her posts here in long time or maybe I keep missing them.
Do search here as my computer is not giving me "address bar' but shows in troubleshooting it is.

You know what is amazingly good? Alissa's Indian Spinach Dip. I made it at Easter and my SAD family kept begging for more.
The only comment I'll make about it is that it shrinks down, like spinach tends to do. I'm used to Alissa's recipes being 3 or 4 x the amount of food my small family needs, but this one I could have tripled.

Hmmmm
I'd be tempted to do a Native American ( Indian) RAW food.
So much easier to come up with loads of recipies:cool:
