I'm interested in starting a science thread regarding any scientific studies (raw or raw relevant) that might be good to use in discussing the raw diet with others who are new and skeptical.
The problem being that I currently only have anecdotal evidence of how we and others feel on a raw diet, and no evidence to back up any of the observed changes or the health of the diet as a whole.
I know personally of the beneficial changes, however (and reasonably) I'm getting calls to back up any personal observations and anecdotal evidence with actual studies and empirical data.
So.. can we get together a collection of links to studies (or abstracts of) or text from reputable organisations (such as physicians for responsible medicine) etc. which can be used to satisfy those that would like to see empirical evidence, particularly on issues such as high fat/low fat raw diets and any detrimental effects, detrimental changes in foods cause by high temps, long term health of raw foodists, bone mass studies etc.
Thanks in advance!
