Hey my name is Christa ,although some call me neva , a middle/nick name,I go by anything (hey you, wheatgrass girl, health nut,etc...)I a 19 and have been vegan for half of my life apx.10 years....some basic christa info? I speak(and am still learning) russian, I love ballet ,yoga and my pony dutch (I event, dressage, jumping, gof off...)I'm pretty liberal and like to know whats happining in the word(john stewart keeps me up to date ,lol )I live near houston and will be moving to san antonio for nursing school, soon

The reason I became RAW?well 4 years ago (I was 15) years ago I fell off a 13 ft barn loft ,landed on my stomach and ripped my liver in half,I had to get over that , a not very easy task......

a year after that,I developed HORRIBLE PAINS in my stomach when I ate a little too much or for no reason at all..... about (sometimes more)3 times a week every week for 7 months I had these pains accompanied by COUNTLESS E.R. VISITS and no explanation I would pop prilosec and drink pepto bismal .....

Turns out I had gallstones ,no one thought of that because I was a active thin teenager, and I did not fit the textbook description, well the pains had gotten so bad that I would REALLY feel I was about to die on the way to the e.r......so they removed my gallbladder,I had heard about the stone flush ,but my mom being not so "hippie chick holistic" thought that the doctor should decide, and he chose the deniro....so during the surgery they put the tube down my throat and inverted a valve ,so I was left with a natural gag reflex every time my stomach had trouble digesting, food would crawl back up at the dinner table, hard to explain ....everything made my stomach get upset , although I was eating VERY well for sad dieter ,organic dried fruit was a staple but it was also alot of sugar ,so I gained weight and just couldnt lose it ,my metabolism complete changed with the surgery and I STILL THREW UP......

two years later ,I had barely gone to a months worth of school and I earned my g.e.d (its a cinch)I was looking trough books at the healthfood store that I worked at and saw a raw book,it made soooo much sense I NEEDED ENZYMES AND A GOOD DETOX program so I fasted and rawed to my beyond norml health ,weight and came to the perfect lifestyle.....

now I AM LOVING MY RAWNESS AND GREAT RAW FREINDS LIKE YOU!!!!!
