Oh my word, I just saw that the last time I logged in here was 15 months ago. That is soooooooooo sad.

I quick bio for those who don't know me from before. I was a vegetarian for 4 years but was still always overweight. Then I came across Alissa's website and totally engulfed myself into RAW right away. I loved it!

So I became a rawfooder and had lost 35 lbs in just under three months and never felt better in my life. I still had another 30 to lose but the transformation already was amazing. For one reason or another that I can't explain, I went back to my vegetarian cooked diet then within several months of that I was craving meat like you wouldn't believe. So around the holidays of 05' I started eating meat again after 4 1/2 years. It's been a downhill spiral since.

I've gained back the 35 lbs I lost plus another 11 lbs. Pretty disgusting huh?

Well I've lost about 7 lbs. in the last month or so and now I have it in my mind that I need to come back to RAW. I'm overweight, I always feel bloated and disgusting, and I always have some pain or ache on any given day.

So I'm her to say I'm BACK!!!!!!!!!!

I'm starting the Master Cleanse on Saturday and hope to do it for at least the 10 suggested minimum but would love to do 14-21 days. I'm doing this to cleanse my system and prepare my body and mind to be a raw fooder again after the cleanse.

I need to do this......I know I am unhealthy and I just feel aweful every day.

So I look forward to meeting all of you and I will be here continually for support.

Welcome back!

You did this once, you can do it again and make it stick this time.
Best of luck to you.

And weight is not at all disgusting. It is just weight.
And it will come off of all of us if we take care of ourselves right!

Hi There,

FinallyRaw The MC is such a good way to get back on track. I have been debating doing the MC again to get back on track, but it is cold in this town and on the MC i get so cold. I wish you luck and strength during your cleanse and after,
Peacefully,
Allison :)

Hello FinallyRaw.
I am new to the raw diet life and am on my 5th day of 100% raw. I am not weighing myself, but I feel like I've already lost 5-6 lbs. I also have weight to lose, but for me it is about 80lbs (believe me I can't believe it is that much, but I want to get thin and light). Anyways, I highly recommend just starting 100% raw. I did the master cleanse over the holidays and I felt it was all about deprivation. With starting raw, it is nothing about deprivation, but about the joy of eating delicious raw food and you get to eat and eat lots. I love to eat and eating raw gives me something I get to eat all the time.
I wish you the absolute best. Keep up the good works.
One Love.

Good Morning FinallyRaw

It was nice to see your post. I have been doing the same as you, lost 20, gained back 24. Doing the Yo-Yo for about 10 years. This time, I believe I am on the right track. My mind-set is in a better place. Welcome.

Welcome back,

Don't be discouraged. I have been making my transition to raw for the past 24 days and I have had some mishaps. Every weekend that I go out of town with my job I seem to blow. Because I have made up my mind though, I get right back on the trail to success. I will be raw because I have made up my mind to live this way.

I also did the master cleanse before I started. I thought it was a great way to start. :)

I am also back after falling off the wagon over the holidays.
I started eating meat again and started getting sick ... again.
So now I am on day 7 of the master cleanse, I did a gallbladder cleanse Friday and plan to go back on raw food when I complete this cleanse.
I am going to do the master cleanse for 2 weeks for cleansing then at least a week of only water. During the water fast I want to be in silence. There are many people I need to pray for ... myself included.
Boy do I miss raw food, not sure what I was thinking.

Awwe thank you everyone for such a great welcome back. I'm ready to be back and I know I can stick with it.

I had mentioned that I was starting with the MC first then into the raw diet but I failed...........it's just not for me I guess. I've tried it before and just can't do it. The SWF makes me gag just thinking of it and I don't find the lemonaide tasty at all. So I wasn't drinking as much as I needed and because nauseas and shaky.......I don't like the feeling at all. And my hubby was nervous....he said I should just start right off with the raw since I've done it before and at least I can eat and still clean out my system AND lose weight.

I lost 35 last time and I am going to lose that twice this time. hehehehehe I think it's a much better choice for me personally.

See you all in the forums here!

I'm off to get some more new recipes. hehehehehe Time to get that food processor and dehydrator dusted off and ready to use.
