Hi everyone!!
I'm a 34 yo sahm with 2 kids. I've been experimenting with raw foods for a month now and finally ordered the book and dvd. Can't wait to get started. The reasons for my choice are many but the biggest thing was I don't want to eat meat anymore. My husband was cooking hamburgers on the George Foreman grill and decided to throw the grease down the toilet. I was the one who found it and had to clean it up. Now needless to say I wasn't happy because it had gotten hard and very difficult to clean. It stuck to everything and then I thought about it and realized thats what happened when it went down in my belly. Getting stuck the whole way down.

ate meat once in the last month. and it just grosses me out.

so since beginning raw, after I watched Alissa on Tyra my IBS has improved 100% and I just love the fresh feeling. I'm not constantly thinkin about food. And I am not focused so much on weight as how great I feel not eating SAD.
I'm saving my pennies for a dehydrator, can't wait!!
