I made Coonlie's gorgeous mint creme brownies today. I used to LOVE mint creme milk chocolate. At one time, I ate a 500gm block everyday!
Here is the problem: it feels WRONG to eat it. It's delicious, and I feel as if I've fallen off the wagon. I read all these books 'and now you can eat your cake for breakfast', 'eat those desserts without any guilt', etc., but I really feel guilty.
Does everyone think these desserts are really OK, or are they more for the very occasional treat? I particularly want my skin to clear up on raw. Am I putting it at risk eating desserts like this? (no offense Coonlie, I think it is a fabulous creation!!!!!).
Sorry, I know this sounds lame, but fruit on its own feels healthy (and yummy), so do vegetables, but desserts like this...I really can't believe it's still good for you. What does everyone think? Do you all eat your fabulous creations with a guilt-free conscience, and do you all think these fruit/nut-carb/fat mixed desserts are OK? (Please say yes ha ha, only kidding).
