Nut Allergies?

Hi, Ive never really had any allergic reactions to nuts, but then again Ive never really consumed many...Ive been noticing lately a few more pimples as well as some hives (nothing major) on my back. I cant think of anything else that could have caused this besides the nuts. Would the pimples and hives definitely mean that I am allergic to nuts? Is it bad to continue eating them if its not that bad and I can deal with my body's reaction? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I have a best friend that is allergic to nuts. Although no expert, she has told me that most nut allergies are very serious. She had to carry an epi-pen around with her at all times. I have never heard of anyone having a mild nut allergy, although I guess it is possible. Most people I have known with nut allergies have been hospitalization/shock severe with the nut allergy.

Maybe its just detox?
