If you ate a lot of cooked foods would you fast the next day or stuff yourself with raw to um...push it through faster? I'm debating which I should do...any suggestions? I have a lot of apples and I've read they're really good because of the specific fiber they have in them.

I think the instinct would be to fast to move everything out of your system, but that could definitely backfire. The first few days of a fast you feel hungry usually, so that could definitely cause you to go back to the junk.
I say just eat raw and after every meal, remind yourself how good you feel, not stuffed or uncomfortable!

Don't DO anything girl! Stick with whatever your regular raw food goals are. Just move right through whatever you didn't succeed at....and break your goals up into smaller goals. Don't judge yourself by some big 'success'....judge yourself by the very small things you did every day to get you to YOUR goals!

I know many would disagree with me,But i personally dont support fasting.Just my thoughts......I personally think it messes up the metabolism(sp?).But thats just me.I would say just eat raw.

For me it is always the same story.. I eat cooked, my stomach hurts, I eat apples, feel good again and eat raw again.. Apples just do something to a stomach ache!

I just eat plenty of light stuff, lots of crisp veggies and fresh fruits. I keep it simple after cooked food, no gourmet stuff and not too many nuts/dates etc.
Also, green juices, I feel like I need 'mineralisation' if I eat a cooked meal. And I find that green juices give me that 'craving' satisfaction. They are like the body's cleaners.

thanks everyone. My instict/desire is to fast, but I think realistically it isn't a good idea. As someone said, it could backfire and I'd go back to eating cooked.

I wouldn't do either. I'd just eat my raw foods as I normally would. Why not go to the middle rather than the extremes?
