butternut or acorn squash recipes? (other than soup)

i've been searching the forum for squash recipes, but have not found any. i bought butternut and acorn squash with plans to cook it :eek: ...ahhh, i know, but my boyfriend is eating with me and he is on the other side of healthy eating...baby steps...

anyway, something manly would be great, i don't want to cook it and i would like a recipe other than soup...

I think there is a recipe on here somewhere for butternut squash cookies...check the banana. Also, you can use butternut squash instead of pumpkin in a "pumpkin pie" recipe. One more is to slice it in a spiral slicer for noodles.
