I remember some comments on a thread about some juicers spitting out un-dry pulp. I have a Juiceman and it does that, too. Today I made grapefruit juice, but then decided to run the discarded pulp back through and I actually got more juice out!
I tried it next with the watermelon juice, but since it was so much more watery and seed-laden, stuff went spewing--not sure I'll try that again ;)
But with citrus type stuff, it seems to work just fine. A little messy on the hands, but so worth it for more of that delish grapefruit juice!

Sedona Sun - I do that as well - I hate not getting the last drop. Coffeesquirrel - I peel my citrus and run it through the juicer all the time - I thought every one did that.

Hi,
I read to put the pulp back through the juicer for even more juice.
I tried this with carrot juice, but I got so much baby fine pulp, I decided not to anymore.

I bought a small juice press to extract pulp juice. They sell them for $60 or so for new ones. Since they are practically unbreakable I bought a vintage '50s one for $7 on ebay. I've only used it for almond milk so far. It extracted a lot more juice and the remaining pulp was almost dry. Very simple to use, doesn't need much effort to press.
Here's a pic and desciption of a new one:

Good idea Christa! I'll check it out. Even after putting citrus pulp back through the juicer a couple times, there still juicy goodness in there that I hate to toss out.

Christa - how did you use it for almond milk? Do you mean that you put the whole almonds in and pressed them ... or that you put in the almond pulp/meal and got more "milk" out of it?
